Theo Rozakis

Apparently the first time I was on a boat was when I was 40 days old (according to my parents) Since then I have made it my career, my hobby and most of all my passion!

Today I am a Co-director with my brother Michael of a boat Retail dealership called M.Y.Marine located in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne.

On a personal level, RTR has given me the opportunity to travel to destinations that I have only ever dreamed of, I have met lots of wonderful people along the way and seen some of most beautiful and exotic locations. Now it’s not just about the fishing, it’s the whole experience of the journey and being able to share it with you.

Alistair McGlashan

Al McGlashan has fished all his life for everything from thousand pound black marlin on the Great Barrier Reef to black bass in the jungles of Papua New Guinea. A keen adventurer his love of fishing and the great outdoors ultimately steered him away from the corporate world and into a career as a photojournalist specialising in fishing. A decade later he is now Australia’s biggest fishing profile and is recognised as one of the industries most accomplished photographers and fishing experts!

Spending more than 200 days a year on the water Al has an insatiable enthusiasm that is infectious and you can’t help but get excited. Despite having no formal training in journalism (in fact his English teacher still doesn’t believe he writes for a living!) Al regularly contributes to a number of national magazines including Modern Fishing, , Bluewater Mag, Fly Life, Freshwater Fishing, Fishing Monthly, Fishing Modern Boating, Go Camping, Outback Magazine, Trade Mag, Qantas Mag, Fishing Wild and Ultimate Boating to name a few. This season Al joins the River to Reef team as our fishing expert taking us to some of his favourite spots in his own back yard of the New South Wales coast. Rex Hunt says about Al.. “My gut feeling is in the future when the history of Australian angling is written this young man, Alistair McGlashan, will stand amongst the elite’.

Roby Nethercote

Roby Nethercote joins the River To Reef team as lifestyle presenter bringing with her a bubbly outgoing personality. From a boating family back ground Roby compliments the presenter team and is keen to share some of the great destination highlights we discover along the way as well as getting out on the boat and having a fish with the guys.

Alison Wastie

After having numerous leadership roles within Government and in the corporate world in Australia and overseas, Alison landed her dream job with Marine Safety Victoria. It is here that she gets to indulge in her passion for all things maritime.

Alison’s bubbly personality comes across on air as she gives the best hints and tips on how to get the most out of your time out on the water, whilst doing it safely. On the weekends you can find Alison out and about on Victoria’s beautiful waterways with her family and friends. If the weather is not great, chances are she can be found watching her beloved North Melbourne FC.

A keen camper, boater and traveller, River to Reef is the perfect vehicle for her budding television career.
